Import a Sunrise Policy

Introduction

INSIGHT has the Import Policy option available in the wizard when creating a New Business or Renewal and the Interface is set to Sunrise.

The Import Policy option allows you to import a policy made ready by the insurer so that you don't need to rekey the policy in Sunrise.

IMPORTANT: Contact your insurer to confirm the policy is ready and on the Sunrise Import Download, confirm whether it is being processed as a renewal or a new business, then proceed with importing the policy in INSIGHT

Process

	Initiate the relevant transaction wizard - New Busines or Renewal.
	On the Policy Summary page: Enter a Brief Description Choose a From Date and To Date Locate the Interface field and select Sunrise Locate the Import Policy field and select Yes Locate the Class of Risk field and select the relevant class of risk Select Next
	On the Import Selection page: There may be several pages of policies to search through. Scroll and use the page numbers or use the search bar to locate the correct policy. The following items must match between INSIGHT and Sunrise to proceed with the Import Renewal: From Date and To Date (this refers to what you've entered in the Policy Summary page) Insurer Policy Number If there is a mismatch, a message will display to advise of the mismatch and will not allow you to proceed with the import. Provided there is a match, select the circle beside the policy you wish to import and select Next.
	On the Sunrise page: Select Sunrise Actions and Import Review the policy and return to INSIGHT
	Complete the wizard as normal.
